Chef in Boots was unofficially founded in the summer of 2016 when Rebecca began offering her culinary skills as a way to earn extra income while settling into Colorado. What started as a part-time Personal Chef role at a family’s vacation home quickly became a passion. Cooking in an intimate setting, building connections, and crafting personalized meals made her fall in love with the experience.

As the family grew to know and love Rebecca’s cooking, they brought her back each summer, and her reputation flourished. By 2018,
Chef in Boots was officially established.

When the world changed in 2020, Rebecca saw an opportunity to give back. She transitioned Chef in Boots into a full-time business, providing affordable meal prep to support her community. From there, her services expanded to include weddings, private in-home dining experiences, and a variety of special events.

What sets Rebecca apart is her dedication to customization. She believes every event is unique, and her strength lies in creating tailored menus and memorable experiences that reflect your vision. 10+ years of cooking experience in the restaurant industry at casual dining establishments, country clubs, event venues, and private parties.

5+ years of bartending experience in casual dining establishments and private events.

Level 1 Sommelier - Court of Master Sommeliers

Associate Degree in Culinary Arts from Great Lakes Culinary Institute in Traverse City, MI.

Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship with minors in Nutrition and Food Service Administration from Central Michigan University.
